Dec. 12, 1994 – The Women’s Institute of Management was launched.
Following the Launch, there was a Symposium titled “The Women Managers and Entrepreneurs: Asia 2000.” (300 participants)
Since its launch by the Right Honorable Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, WIM has organized many training courses on Training of Local Trainers and Small Businesses to local women’s groups, including single parent women. These courses have been held in Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Seremban and Penang, and conducted in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin.
