On April 5th., 1996, the Right Honorable Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Datuk Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohd., graciously officiated at the WIM Building’s Ground-breaking Ceremony.In addition to the ground-breaking, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed at the event with the University of East London to run an MBA programme. The Ceremony was attended by many local and foreign dignitaries. An Exhibition by ten women entrepreneurs was held at the event.
